****TRIGGER WARNING: SEXUAL ASSAULT******
The other day I was going about my business when I happened to read this moronic article explaining how advocating ‘risk management’ (barf) is not ‘victim blaming’.
I’ve read a lot of articles like this, but that one, for some reason, was the straw…
YES.

These are shitty things you do, A LOT, which bother me, quite a bit:
- Post pictures of some really rich meal you’re eating and add captions like “this is why I’m fat” or “#fatass”. Fat people don’t eat like that all the time, if we did we wouldn’t maintain a steady weight - we’d always be…
THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS.

I’m having sooo many feels lately and trying to explain what that’s like to my logic-based partner has been exhausting. We had a strange conversation last night where he couldn’t understand why I don’t see objects as fixed… I didn’t even realize how intensly true it was that I don’t and that other people do, and I felt washed away in the constant moving, undoing, rebuilding/shaping ways that I understand the world and how I exist in it. When I was a teenager I had an intimacy with the Jimi Hendrix song “Castles Made of Sand”… it makes so much sense to me now thinking about the way the music and the lyrics and just those images… that I should relate to it so much. I feel that I experience my life on the edge of the ocean and I build and build and build as I get washed away away away. I do not grasp “fixed”.
I want to see a fat girl in a leading role of a film.
I want to see a fat girl in a leading role of a film that isn’t about her weight.
I want to see a fat girl wearing mini skirts or just whatever the fuck she’s comfortable in.
I want to see a fat girl kick some bad guy’s ass.
I want to see a fat girl be the one that the guy/girl falls in love with at first sight instead of just the fat girl the guys all make fun of first before getting to the stereotypical blond, thin white girl.
I want to see a fat girl who isn’t the thin girl’s funny friend.
I want to see a fat girl love scene.
I want to see a fat girl be a fucking survivor of a god damned fucking zombie apocalypse! Fuck you and your rule #1, Zombieland!
I want to see a fat Disney princess.
I want to see a badass fat girl who is sardonic and smokes, and when someone comments on her weight and how smoking makes it worse, she just blows smoke right in their faces.
I want to see a fat girl who loves to screw and isn’t ashamed of the fact.
I want to see a fat girl’s leading man/woman punch some guy in the fact for making fun of her.
I want to see a fat girl be something that is not her weight. I don’t want her to be the butt of every joke. I don’t want her to be the one who’s constantly rejected, or the one who has to fight to accept herself and have others around her accept who she is. I’m tired of seeing roles for fat girls that are only about her weight. I want to see a fat girl living her normal existence. I want to see her know she’s beautiful and not have to go through some huge challenge of loving herself. I’m tired of seeing horror films with only a thin cast. Fatties can run, too, a lot of times faster than you can and I can guarantee fatties can probably beat a bad guy up better, too.
I WANT TO SEE A FAT GIRL, HOLLYWOOD!
I just watched, for the first time in over 20 years, the third season blooper reel from Star Trek The Next Generation. It’s going to be included on the Blu-Ray disc, and I get to see it before it’s released to offer any notes or concerns that will be…
JEALOUS. Watching the blu-ray of season one right now.

I’m such a nice girl, I’m so sick of being fuckzoned!!!!!!!
What’s the fuckzone you ask? it’s this zone that guys put you in where they only want to fuck you; they don’t want to have a friendship with you and they aren’t satisfied with emotional commitment, they just want sex!!!!!
I’m a nice girl!!!! Stop putting me in the fuckzone!!!!!!!
Lol.
I’ve been meaning to post something about The Big Bang Theory for a while now but it’s taken me ‘till now to really understand what it is about the show that makes me uncomfortable. I’m not exactly a believer in the whole “only write about the things you like, don’t trash the things you don’t” trend which seems to be plaguing comments sections in negative articles lately, but I wanted to be able to really examine why I don’t like TBBT rather than just slagging it off. My main questions being - Why don’t I like this anymore? Why do I feel uncomfortable watching it? And why do I get so annoyed when I see people sing its praises online? The thing which really sparked this post was seeing a raft of comments on Facebook, below the last round of voting in Television Without Pity’s Tubey Awards, claiming The Big Bang Theory to be “the best comedy on TV”. This made me angry so instead of posting an impulsive comment calling out their bad taste which I’d probably regret later, I decided to really analyse why seeing comments like that made me so mad when previously, although I didn’t really love the show, I’d never considered myself as disliking The Big Bang Theory.
Hell, I even have season one on dvd, it’s sitting right between Battlestar Galactica and Bored To Death in my alphabetised collection.
And here, I think, is where my problem with The Big Bang Theory lies…
So many feels.

Government ethics experts and election lawyers told ABC News that Romney’s trust might not be quite as blind as he has long maintained. That’s because Romney placed his quarter-billion dollar family fortune in the hands of his personal lawyer and longtime associate Bradford Malt.
Federal officeholders are required to either fully disclose all their financial holdings and any possible conflicts of interest, or place their holdings in a blind trust. Robert Kelner, a Republican election lawyer in Washington, D.C. with no ties to a current presidential campaign, explained the federal rules governing those blind trusts. “The Office of Government Ethics requires that a financial institution be appointed as the trustee and that the financial institution not be controlled by or have done business with the candidate,” said Kelner. “It would preclude you from hiring your favorite lawyer as the trustee.”
I’m just making a mirror of the blog post at The Phoenix, because their server is melting at the moment:

Hey, I know about that binder! And guess what — Mitt Romney was lying about it.
